An experimental synth track about a stalker. Written and performed as a duet by William and special guest, Zoe Thomas. |
Credits: Written and performed by William Read and Zoe Thomas |
Story Behind the Song
Zoe is a good friend and neighbour of mine and she has had some minor success, co-writing a song which reached #2 in the UK charts in the early ninties. Although she is more of a writer than a singer, we decided to have a go at writing and performong a song together. This song was written, performed, and recorded in about 6 hours one Friday night.
Lyrics
Well I've been creepin' around while you've been sleepin' around
I've seen the way you look at him
Well I'd be willing to bet that you're all covered in sweat
Skin on skin, slick from limb to limb
You know I'm one of a kind with such a devious mind, don't you know I'm going out of my head?
I've seen you do this before and I can't take any more
I see the things that you do in your bed
Can you feel my need, can you feel my need baby (6x)
I.C.U. (I see you)
You've got him down on the floor and girl he's beggin' for more
Caress him with your fingertips
Why is it him and not me that plays in your fantasy
Watching you tease him with your lips
Do you know that I'm here, can you feel that I'm near
Close enough to reach out and touch
So watch the way that you ask, don't give me time to react
Cause one more time might be too much
Can you feel my need, can you feel my need baby (6x)
I.C.U. (I see you)
I imagine myself with you all the time
Every minute of every hour of every day
I've made a million plans of ways to make you mine
And now it's time to have my say
Can you feel my need, can you feel my need baby (6x)
I.C.U. (I see you)
