	Story Behind the Song This song was started 30 years ago, just after my tour in Vietnam. The Air Force had asked for submissions for an essay: what's the price of freedom. I wrote this song, but kept it to myself. Since not much has changed in 30 years, I updated (converted the 4th verse into a bridge) and put it together as you can hear, here.
