An attempt to capture the virtuoso violin style of Paganini on guitar. Violinist Llaya Kaler has excellent performances of Op.1 on Naxos, and has provided much guidance towards this effort.

    Story Behind the Song
Music intended for other instruments tends to be more difficult to play on guitar. The main challenge here is to sound fluid, not frantic. Also, certain techniques on violin don't translate well to the guitar, e.g. doublestops. In the case of the violin notes in doublestops are not played together but a fraction apart. When played
on guitar,. something about the sound doesn't quite work for me. So, I just play the notes together.
