	Story Behind the Song This is a trumpeters tune - replete with double C's and double D's. As stated in the thumbnail, there is a bass trumpet solo for mellow contrast. A substantial part of the more out, dark section is based on the retrograde inversion of a tone row I like to use superimposed on the row itself. The less dark part is based on some things that just popped into my head in improvising. As with all of my stuff, there is an intended spiritual undercurrent. Does the trumpeter breathe life into the trumpet, or does the trumpet breathe life into the trumpeter? Is it a symbiotic thing? Or is it deeper still? Peace.
