	Story Behind the Song The theme for Q-bass came to me while I was working on some other tune. I heard it as a lead instrument interacting with a bass line over a solid funkgroove. It took me about an hour to figure out the basics. We arranged it in our studio, and after a week and an indefinite number of takes, we decided that the tune was complete.
