	Story Behind the Song Written for Adam Kevin Kidd Born to earth 6-16-85 born to heaven 2-19-98 Son of Tad and Susan Brother of Rachel, Brian and Molly. Victim of the rare disease Metabolic Nephrogenic Cystinosis. Adam lived life on earth with a rare disease know as Metabolic Nephrogenic Cystinosis. No matter what he had to face he did it with a joke and a smile he had the most contagious grin. He knew that he would be leaving earth soon and he knew how much his mother had wrapped her life around him as his Mom, his teacher and his nurse. Adam told his Mom that it was time for her to adopt and he wouldn't take no for an answer. His Mom told him that she would consider it. His mom said, "After Adam died I stayed sane by going to the computer and learning all I could about adoption. I put a little blurb in an online classified. I had fulfilled Adam's last wish for me." Things happened so quickly and amazingly an adoption just seemed to fall into place. Adams new little sister was born a little over three months after Adam got his wings. She is now only four years old and though they never met on earth, she often talks of flying with him before she was born. How he told her he loved her then she gave him her wings and then she was born. "She is a special connection to our precious Adam," says her Mom.
