Ambient beginning, but...bobota-club-gas ! ***Review by anrkeboy ( http://www.mp3.com/anrkeboy ) from
Colorado Springs, USA: As a drummer and an electronic musician, I love when an artist pushes the boundaries of what is usually a pretty straightforward aspect of dance/techno music, the drums, and on Never Ask for Matzke Mike Burn does exactly that, creating a bit of confusion at first as the snare (hand clap, really) and bass seem to be working against each other, but the vibe that creates is great, especially when the rest of the music kicks in to solidify the groove. Although there's not many transitory aspects of the melody pieces, the song still pumps a groove that forces a listener to bob their head whether they want to or not. Tasty stuff, definitely a hard house groove with the drums but lots of trance elements in the bass and synths which is a perfect combination for this track! | MP3.com CD: the bobota project - buy it!
