	Story Behind the Song I met a man age about 35, while attending one of his counseling sessions. He had spent the last ten years in prison, and most of his earlier years found him in various institutions. While he was 35 his mind had not progressed beyond that of a young teenager. His name was Bill and he told me that the only thing he loves is his birds. He had raised 70 pair of Love birds, which had been taken away from him by being released into the air. As Bill watched he found himself wishing he could be one of them and fly away to a better way of life. I wrote this song during the short time that I observed his class. After the class was over I took him and his friends and sang it for him. I promised that I would dedicate the song to him and have always told the story when singing it. I do pray that Bill has sense found a way to be free.
