	Story Behind the Song This song was motivated by observations made on the majority of people in our society. It deals with the issue of spirtuality and finding meaning in life. It's not a religious song and it doesn't solve the existential dilemma, instead it aims to open everyone's eyes to what is true. People always find ways to distract themselves from their problems whether it be with drugs or just trying to be the most successful family on the block. "Face your shadow" is a line from the song and what that means is look inside, look at your soul. What do you see? Now, don't run away...deal with it.
