This is our attempt at articulating the excitement and surprise of love; even words and music can't do it justice. In the midst it feels like a dream, and we won't wake up till at least the end of the song. |

Story Behind the Song
The song was written by Ty, and it was motivated by his desire to fall in love. It was written in his college dorm-room, thinking about how he does not understand what the heck love is all about, but wanting to know badly. It took a while to record because its one of our more difficult songs to put together.
Lyrics
Dream
Words by Tyler Hall --- Music by Tyler Hall and Matt Larson
Would it be crazy if I told you how I feel right now?
Because I feel like its gonna explode out of me somehow.
What will I say if you ask me to explain myself to you?
You're not the only wondering this, I'm wondering too.
If God can make the world in seven days, then I wouldn't doubt
How fast He can take my heart and turn it inside out.
Please excuse me if I can't look you in the eye,
But I can't convince myself this makes sense; I've tried.
Chorus:
You pinch me and I'll pinch you and we'll find out if its true.
Will you wake me up from a sweet dream or am I in love with you?
So tell me, now that its out, how bad did it sound?
Could you feel it climb your spine and make your heart pound?
I didn't have the time or will to make this elegant,
But I'm getting tired of dropping subtle hints.
Chorus
Bridge:
I'm crazy, running through the rain in my bare feet;
Take my hand and leave your cares and come with me.
Can we forget about sanity just for today?
Take my hand and leave your cares, let's run away!
