	Story Behind the Song The message is clear. Republicans are the cause of the decline of western civilization as we know it. "Ponteus Pilate was a Republican" rings as a possible message. Republicans are warlike people who don't care about the struggling working man. "How can you have a decent society when it is run by millionaire Lawyers?" The song takes you through several scenarios: Republicans kill their Presidents, They love war, they are racists, They all used to run oil companies (which is why Iraq is so meaningful), AND they are all Millionaire Lawyers. A pop tune that explodes with power and meaning.
