Story Behind the Song
Gryphon: This song refers to a specific ex, and was written on a day I had a specific problem with her. It refers to the ending phase of the relationship, years ago, but it was a long phase. Nowadays we have a good working relationship, but this had to be said.
Lyrics
Lyrics by Robert Gryphon
I see what you're doing to me.
I know that you're gonna get the best of everything.
I don't want to be with you anymore.
Now, how will you even the score?
I've reached my limit, 'cause you pushed me to hard.
I'll burn you down, leave your confidence charred.
You're hard as any woman I've ever seen
When I'm the hell out, what will you do then?
