	Story Behind the Song Recorded and mixed in two seperate binge sessions at Mushroom Studios in Vancouver in 1990-91, the lyrics are what really made this a cornerstone song because they bring together the years that went into creating the album. Namely, the song represents what happens when a someone (or a group of musicians) perseveres through hardships and emerges with, if nothing else, at least the realization that life's difficulties are a great motivating force.
