Lyrics
"Goodbye, Melody"
(c) 2003 D.Erik/Dreamstar Music Performed by Michael Church
Verse 1
I couldn't face the voice that said it's over,
And that old guitar - just wouldn't let me sleep,
As I bowed my head and played in pain and sorrow,
My heart poured out a goodbye melody,
Chorus:
Goodbye Melody,
Wherever you may be,
I hope it won't be long,
Untill you hear our song,
And if you're all alone,
Turn on the radio,
Those memories of you and me,
Made a goodbye melody.
Verse 2:
They told me I'd get better,
I'd recover,
But it may take some time that's what I'd need,
Without her there the days would last forever,
And all I have are faded memories,
Chorus:
Goodbye Melody,
Wherever you may be,
I hope it won't be long,
Until you hear our song,
And if you're all alone,
Turn on the radio,
Those memories you gave to me,
Made a goodbye melody.
BRDIGE: INSTRUMENTAL PIANO
Chorus:
Goodbye Melody,
Wherever you may be,
I hope it won't be long,
Untill you hear our song,
And if you're all alone,
Turn on the radio,
Those memories of you and me,
Made a goodbye melody.
And if your all alone,
Turn on the radio,
Those memories of you and me,
Made a goodbye melody.
