	Story Behind the Song I wrote this for my songwriting class. We had a small assignment which consisted of creating two types of melodies for one set of words and chord progression. I liked this 6/8 version the best (the other is in 4/4). I don't know what my grade is yet, but I will definately be developing this song. Lyrics You said goodbye while I said I'm sorry. Soft words were said but fell upon deaf ears. Then on the lawn you saw the night so starry. I asked you to stay and wipe away my tears. Of all I put you through, I never really knew, doo doo doo, doo doo doo, how to love you.
