Story Behind the Song
In many African dialects there are not seperate words for music or dance or song, there is one word which encompasses all those things. This represents my way of thinking about the arts. Interestingly enough, this piece was created two years before I became involved in dance. Choreographed by Ondine Geary in 2002 for the Metal Velvet Dance Project.
