Fun tune about my fantasy of being "a little cooler than the rest". Bond, I want to be James Bond... |

Story Behind the Song
No real motivation, Just something I wrote for fun. I am hoping to sell it someday as a movie soundtrack song if they ever make a James Bond Spoof because I think the song is quite humouress. When I was in London recently, I had a meeting with Harrods department stores and they were considering playing it in store during their James Bond Christmas promotion! It was way cool!
Lyrics
Bond
Bond, James Bond
Bond, James, James Bond
I might be standing by your bureau
and I’d see you lying on the floor
Your deadly smile says come closer
I dim the lights and lock the door
Well I want to be in secret service to the queen
well I want to be a jet set spy
Bond, James Bond
Bond, James Bond
Well I believe there’s poison in my cocktail
and I believe you switched your glass with me
Well you did not see me fumble with my clever cufflink
you can’t slide anything past me
Well I want to be in secret service to the queen
I want to be a jet set spy
I want to be a little cooler than the rest
not just your average private eye...
Bond, I want to be James Bond
I want to be Bond
I want to be James Bond
Don’t want to be Sherlock Holmes
I don’t want to be Perry Mason
I don’t want to be Charlie Chan
I want to be the 007 Man
I want to be Bond, James Bond
Well I’d listen to your private conversations
and I’d analyze every word
and I’d see right through your clever inuendos
and I’m sure I’d find your lies absurd
Bond, James Bond
