	Story Behind the Song Written as a song about Dracula. My English 12 teacher wanted us to do a project on Dracula after we finished reading the book. I choose to record a song and shoot a music video for the project. It took about 4 hours to write and 8 hours to record. Lyrics This is the legend of Dracula. What is it about Dracula that causes such strange erratic behavior? Is it the haunting threat that he imposes? Or the inevitability that he endures? Or is it simply, the inescapable fear that he could be right there beside you? Watching & haunting. Waiting & taunting. Surpassing all of your knowledge to assure your death. Succeeding your worst nightmares and frights. Diminishing every chance of your survival. Watching & haunting. Waiting & taunting. His eyes, like a red poison, following you, infecting you. Never letting their sight stray from you. He strikes! Jumping on top of you and knocking you down. Sinking his fangs deep into your flesh. Sucking the blood from your helpless body. Taking your life away ounce by ounce. And what becomes of you, a victim of the most purest evil? Why, you have become one of him. Dead yet undead. A vampire yourself.
