Fe Azores wrote the lyrics and music of For My Baby in February 1999 while on vacation from her day job for a month, to concentrate on songwriting. The song is dedicated to all parents' children who are in transition from adolescence to adulthood. Young ladies and gentlemen, listen to what your mother's heart wants to say! Prior to her present band with whom she now performs, the C3---composed of her husband, Bernard, and children Chona and Camille, Fe Azores recorded this song with her former group called the Inner Core.
