	Story Behind the Song I went to Boston almost a year after I had left. I needed to see a few friends, and remember my two years in the city. It wasn't the same though, so I ended my trip early, and drove home the next day. When I got back I wrote the music for tool of the system. I got hungry as I was finishing up the track and I went to the convient store. When I got up the counter the girl at the register was talking about another employee that worked there and she said "Damn it Roger, you're just a tool of the system" I almost laughed in her face and when I got home I added that as the vocal.
