	Story Behind the Song The title track from The Empire of Glass' fourth CD album, Digital Winter as it is about the dependence upon technology. Inspired by the BBC novel Millennium Shock. Recorded January 2002, the lyrics were deemed so wicked on early feedback, a third verse was added for the release. Lyrics microwaves, TVs and VCRs, refrigerators and fast cars, mobiles, PCs and CDRs, can we cope with no digi-parts?, it's enough to make the modern man shiver, if the world was plunged, into a digital winter, think life won't be able to deliver, when the world is plunged into a digital winter, planes, trains, communicators, calculators and trips to the star, technology of modern earth, can we cope with no digi-parts?, ROM, RAM, DVD and SFX, the world wide web like gestalt connects, CGI, an outstanding tool for art, can we cope with no digi-parts?,
