	Story Behind the Song This one is about the distance between people. How sometimes we sit on the couch or in a car or in a movie theater right next to people that feel like they're miles away. The story is told by a man who is always on the road and away from home, sending postcards to stay connected. Lyrics Baby you say that you're gonna leave me, 'cause I'm too many light years from home. And I know that I leave you sleeping in bed when I slip out the door to hit the road. Chorus But it's not as if the miles come easy. I hate to leave you; but baby, I can't stay.
