	Story Behind the Song Canadian winters are long. And cold. but images of the Banff Rose and Crown and the backpacker population come to mind with this song. Inspired by my friend Jemma, whose positive outlook on life helped so much with the culture shock! I recorded in my bedroom with rather a simplistic recording set up (ie mike and minidisc player).
