Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song to express a fantacy I had
about fleeing the stress of working and living in the city and just flying away to
an island and live a life in love and happiness.
I wrote the song on the beach one day while enjoying reflecting about life. It took several days to arrange and record the music tracks using several keyboard processors. The vocal tracks were easy and completed in one day.

Lead in chorus:
Take A Chance (two times)
Verse I:
I was sitting in my office kind of laid back you know.
Thinking it was time to just cut loose and go.
I was thinking about this
and thinking a-bout that,
and listening to the voices singing,
take a chance.
Chorus:
Take A Chance (two times)
Verse II:
I moved to the Islands just a few days ago.
I haven_t had a chance to hang out, you know.
I was thinking about this and thinking about that,
and listening to the voices singing,
take a chance.
Chorus:
Take A Chance (two times)
Verse III:
The night was bright and the air was warm,
when I saw her walking all alone.
I was thinking about this and thinking
about that,
and listening to the voices singing,
take a chance.
Chorus:
Take A Chance (two times)
Verse IV:
I looked at her and she winked at me.
I asked myself could this really be?
We laughed about this and laughed about that,
joining in the voices singing,
take a chance.
Chorus:
Take A Chance (two times)
Verse V:
Now here we are walking hand in hand.
Love_s real good in Jamaica land.
We sing about this and sing about that,
joining in the voices singing,
take a chance.
Chorus:
Take A Chance (four times on ending)
