	Story Behind the Song I was listening to a lot of Dylan one weekend and it hit me...i should write a song with a "blowin in the wind" feel to it. so, that's what i did and i came up with California in less then 20 minutes. This was the easiest song for me to write as of yet. Lyrics California well I was walking down the road the sun was beating down on me I took what I had and left that town I'm never coming back around I've got to find my way on my own California is my destination it I know it's far way but I'm going to hitch-hike across the nation and I will make it there some day I've got to find my way on my own one day you will say what ever happened to the man who went away and me I'll be doing just fine on the shores of California wasting time
