Lyrics
"Today I wish the earth were flat so I could walk off the edge" - S. Beatecton
the evening wind has promised me another lie.
Reflecting the anguish of the sky upon the ice. I turn away, salvaging the sanctity of a summer breeze. Shallow depth and slow current have become your avatar. Confrontation has revealed that no sooner were your tears shed than sold. The past is sorrowed yet again. So I've become an anonymous failure through your eyes. Your eyes mean nothing. I've built too grand a throne, upon a wall too high for a false idol. We've reconfigured honesty for the sake of serenity, we failed. Kings carry pouches of precious thoughts. Distractions are thieves who shall always follow closer than the candles we light. And with what to conquer, life is beaten from our bodies. Time erodes what structures last? The vapors, life crystalizes, before our eyes. There must be a constant despite constant tumult. Discovery of a change in seasons. Life, a breath in Winter. The change in cycles. An end in seasons.
