A song of teenyboppers' trying to form political opinions based upon biased information given to them. |

Story Behind the Song
I was (and still am) very annoyed with the totally blind liberal (not that liberalism is bad) approach many young teens are seeming to turn out to follow. Which would consist of stop the bad guy (the US gov., the man etc.) and save the whales, animals, 'oppressed people'. I think the need for knowledge is becoming less of 'big deal' in my generation, and flashy graphics over glorifying things is now what is up.
Lyrics
I used to listen to Christina and Britney
But now only good charlotte and sum 41
I strive to be cool and pretty
The War on Iraq is no fun
I teenybopper but I'm not one, I care about the enviroment and cool clothing
I want to be a political rebel whose chic, no use for actual knowledge though I'm not a geek
Chorus:
Teenybopper politick, politicking for the weak
Support the underdog no matter what, in the case of war its open shut
Lets protest the World Bank for others are doing it
Lets protest for my parents will have a fit
Lets stand out against oppresive nations
For the simple reason it looks good on a college application
(Chorus)
I supported nader, for he dressed retro
I support anti-war, cuz they used too
Support the cause no matter what the flaws
I support the PLO (pause) because they told me to
Teenybopper politick, politicking for the weak
Teenybopper politick, there should be laws against this kind of thing
