	Story Behind the Song I was asked to write a song for a film short written and directed by Jason Tarantino called "Empire State Building." It's about a woman who's infatuated with the building. The lyrics are intentionally vague in an attempt to embody a general theme of love tinged with obsession, so that the song can live outside of the movie.
