	Story Behind the Song One day Ted and I were at a loss to come up with a riff we liked so Ted started dancing around like some sideshow freak and playing funny riffs on the guitar... suddenly he started playing the riffs for Forget the Sun. To him it was a joke but I made play them over and over. It took me a while to write the lyrics because I wanted this song to sum up how I saw the world now that I was free from EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE!! Lyrics forget the sun give up the world omit the reason a new beginning with no objectives and no ties there's nothing left to want there's nothing left to lose there's nothing left to choose become still transmute your will sound the cry and go in for the kill kill kill their institutions kill kill they nullify kill kill our senses able kill kill of direct apprehension of the spirit world well i was born into a world a world of lies where pale morals and pale reasons stigmatize give me sight/unsight to sight the limitless and laugh into the abyss take all your love and all your hate and disreintegrate the fading of the light has helped me see a transmutation of the agathakakological now i'm rejoicing at the stake
