Story Behind the Song
This song was birthed out a bit of superficial pain. It really is an exaggeration of what I felt. Everything just came together and here is the first single.
Lyrics
Once more, I'm in that same old place
Where I can't recognize what I see.
I'm caught again between
Hopes I hold and where they all belong.
So I fall, right back
Back to, my silence
From what, I thought
I have no reliance.
And these tears they fall
Like heavy raindrops from my mind
What's the use of it all?
My vision is clouded,
I really needed an answer this time.
And I fall, short of it all.
Today, you said not to try so hard
But not trying is way too hard
This is me, but I am unsure of who I am
I need to find that place where I begin.
