	Story Behind the Song I hear someone say "well, it has truly been a strange year thus far..." and I found it quite poetic, and somehow that phrase simplified how I had felt about the past 12 months. I finished the song around New Years and recorded it soon after. This is one of my favorite songs that I have written. It ends with an a capella ode to strangeness. Lyrics Another boring year in the books, memories of nothing much. I tried my best as sciolist, and I'd like to know what's gotten me thus far. The end is near I tell myself, By my concience throws me off. The thought of never knowing who to trust, and then I lie and we can be like them. It's been a strange year and something is missing now.
