Story Behind the Song
Song describing the general feeling and mood of an expedtion into ancient dwarven caverns discovered in the foothills of a dark mountain range , not traversed often by the comon man, after many battles and surprises in the last few weeks . Massive halls leading the party through endless miles of ancient dwarven pathways between lost and fallen ancient dwarven enclaves , the song echos the repetition of the monotonous yet mysterious and dangerous paths taken here . The title comes from one path in particular which lead the party to an unimaginably large cavern riddled with bottomless cracks and pitfalls . Song taken upon reflection and destitute after weeks of travel in these seemingly never ending halls ... well seemingly neverending to a wirey halfelf normaly content with a shadow and a dagger in his hand.
This song was recorded in one take . Yes there are a few misses ect , but I did manage to capture my feeling . This song was recorded in May 2000 . This is 1 song in a series , Probably being the third.
