Story Behind the Song
The song was written the day after the space shuttle exploded over Texas. The song was inspired by an audio clip of the last moments on the space shuttle Columbia. Imagine what it would be like to freefall from 200,000 ft. 106,000 ft. has been done before by a pre NASA space exploration team where Joe Kittinger jumped from a hot air balloon with a serious space suit on at an altitude of 106,000 ft!!! He reached top speeds over Mach 1 without a vehicle!!! Imagine breaking the sound barrier with your body!!!
Lyrics
