A metaphor of how as we age, we are placed away, kept clean, and away from the action. Given the chance, we could fly... |

Lyrics
Rode Hard in 1942
Dog Fighter, High Flew and Served Well.
Sat atop the dogs of industry.
Now sits, a museum piece.
Polished on the week, and shines,
but never again to take the sky.
It's a singular metaphor, how we become made
obsolete by another one a little younger, a little stronger, more appealing to the eye.
We may be wiser, just not fast enough, but can still fly.
