Story Behind the Song
After checking to see if VyL8 had followed her wishes, Thary stumbled on The ToKou Project. This Is what she had to say.
Lyrics
I don't know if you are aware of the definition of irony. Webster's
New World Dictionary states: IRONY: "Event that is the opposite of
what is expected." This new project was totally unknown to me until
now, and not at all expected. And of any expectations I did have,
this is not to be considered opposite. Actually, to tell you the
honest truth, it is indeed flattering. You make me blush, dear
songstress. No, I'm not trying to be nice, and I don't intend to
apologize for my actions, however bold they may be. I would like you
to know I am aware of this music (if you could call it that) project,
and am not in the least bit upset. In fact, I intend to tell my
friends about it. Will they be tickled! And using my pictures to
promote this work was wise. It helps to use pretty representives to
sell your work. As for my harsh words used in the song, they could
not have been better chosen. I don't care if people know that it's
me. As a wise person once said, any press is good press. Whether
making headlines for winning the Nobel Prize or credited as the
inspiration for some poor obsessed girl's "lashing-out" project, I'll
take whatever comes to me. I'm not planning on going into politics
anytime in this life, so the sky's the limit. As much as I want you
out of my life, somehow you seem to have a hard time letting go of
me. Poor girl, I do feel sorry for you.
But anyways, good luck on this cute little project. I'm overwhelmed
with flattery, again. I cannot stop giggling. If you need any more
inspiration, feel free to use this letter. And as much as I truly
hate you, I do pray for you. I pray you receive the strength and
wisdom to carry on. You may have turned your back on God, but God
will never turn his back on you. And next time, try to make sure you
know the meaning of the word IRONIC before you use it. Don't wanna
pull an Alanis Morrisette on us, now!
And try to be a good girl. I never listen to mine own advice, btw.
