	This is the opening cut from the "Of Empires Forlorn" album. An earlier version was released as a 7" single on Maniacal Records in late 2002. The atmospheric beginning ala Tangerine Dream leads into a crushing funeral dirge, before suddenly shifting into a stadium rock anthem, and ultimately ends in waves of baroque-inspired counterpoint. Triumphant, but ironic, these waves represent the sorrow swallowing a barren soul. The most "upbeat" song in our discography.
