	Story Behind the Song I wrote this song in 1989, then my good friend and partner Tim Whaley and I rewrote it. Tim plays all the guitars on this one. Lyrics I was walkin' on down the street Tryin' to take my mind off the heat I spied a little girl I once new I said "I'm thirsty, how 'bout you?" She said " I'm hot as desert sand!" I said "Let's go find a lemonade stand." We looked around 'till we found a spot Nice and cool, not too hot We made lemonade all afternoon I stirred it up and she licked the spoon Before we left we made our plans To meet again at The Lemonade Stand
