	Story Behind the Song Rock Star is a song dedicated to all struggling Artists trying to make it! Being an Indie Artist myself, I know the frustration that engulfs us all and so I wanted all Artists to know their not alone. It's an inspirational song meant to encourage all Artists to push on and not give up! I wrote this song about 5 years ago. Lyrics Rock Star (so you wanna be) 1. Well I wrote a very touchin letter, to a major record label, they said son we're looking for that unique sound, are you ready willing and able. 2. Now that got me thinkin man, what could that sound be, maby a sound like Nirvana, Sound Garden or AC DC. 3.Well they said it's gotta have great lyric's, it's gotta have a good hook you see, it's gotta fit into that certain niche man, it's gotta be great musically. So ya wanna be a Rock Star,hah! Well I'm sure you'll go far 4.Now you may all be wonderin, just what the hell does this all mean, Well if you aien't got that unique sound man, your ruined musically. 5.They say, son things are different now, it aien't like it use to be Ya gotta pump out them gold, platinum records for us man, so we can live the life of ease. So you wanna be a Rock Star, Hah! Well I'm sure you'll go far Yeah, right! Heah! alright, looks like they sent me a Rock Star manual. Let's see here, it say's, in order to be a Rock Star, you must be able to play your Guitar well, Heah! that aien't no problem, man! Rule number 2. It say's, in order to be a Rock Star, you must have Balls! Heah! that aien't problem man, I got 2 of them. Let's see, rule number 3. in order to be a Rock Star, you must smoke, drink, take drugs, and have illicit sex, Hum! also, you must be able to solve Einstein's theory of realitivity, realitivity, Oh! yeah man, I got plenty of them, looks like I'm gonna be a Rock Star, alright! 6.So no one has the answer, that defines that unique sound, just keep writing from your heart man, and your music will be profound. 7.So don't let them dictate or dominate, what you should listen to, just let your ear be the judge man, unto your own self be true! So ya wanna be a Rock Star Hah! well, I'm sure you'll go far! Yeah! right!
