	Story Behind the Song This song is the latest in a new musical tradition called Panamericanism. This movement was started in Panama by brothers Daniel and Claudio Betts and their band Raza:Humana. Paradise is an example of their musical style. It incorporates Panama's original reggae music (called plena) and transcends it by combinig acoustic rock stylizations. The lyrics talk directly to an outsider to the realities of the third world (a common theme in Panamericanista music) and welcomes the listener to become part of it.
