Story Behind the Song
I wrote this song for a high school english contest. I took third place in the county with it. But it sure rocked the awards ceremony! he he! :)
Lyrics
All your life you might have been the luckiest soul around. It doesn't matter now.
All these years you never took the little things to heart. The things that make you whole.
Decisions that you made are coming back to haunt you, haunt you like a curse.
Now you feel like sealing up and throwing away the key. Yeah throw away that key!
(CHORUS)
Suddenly you turn around,
all you had it can't be found.
Suddenly you turn around,
you wind up struggling on the ground.
Struggling on the ground
Deep inside the feeling of shame has overtaken you, It's your darkest day.
clear through out your bony bag you feel the emptyness, There's a void inside of you!
(CHORUS)
The world in your mind is twisted,
locking your door to reallity.
The future is not clearly written,
Sending you blindly to the the end.
(CHORUS)
