A new style protest song, which mixes traditional folk-protest elements with new grooves and instruments carries the listener from a marching cadence to a harmonic, groovy, climactic finish. During these times, every piece of creative opposition is needed, no matter the quantity. There's no question concerning the quality of Agua Trip's songwriting; check it out now. |

Story Behind the Song
No Más (spanish for "no more") emerged from Bill Carrasco's urge to question certain aspects of civilization (and especially the civilization of the U.S.) in order to drive change. He brought the song to Lindsey Boise, who added mandolin licks and other ideas. Shortly afterwards they went into the studio and, with Corey Boise on drums and Mike Boise engineering, they laid it down in a few takes. Debra Lee Reardon can be heard behind Bill in the "we don't have to live a lie". The rest, as they say, rocks.
