A nice edgey jam performed by a nice texture of acoustic, and electric guitar, bass, drums, keys, and male vocals. The sax was an after thought, but we know better now. |

Story Behind the Song
This songs comes from a feeling not really knowing who I was, or where my life was going. The hook of the song SEE THE LIGHT is a metaphore for finding myself and getting all my ducks in a row so to speak.
Lyrics
Whenever I try to figure out my life I always wind up being confused,
But then I stop and realize that it's all good as long as I watch every path I choose.
I don't know what to do any more,
or where to go from here.
(CHORUS)
I've gotta see whats out there for me,
I don't wanna go to far to find an empty see,
and If I don't I may never see the light.
That's what I've gotta do, I've gotta see the light.
Sheryl always said that life's like a winding road. I find it very hard to disagree. Sometimes it's realy hard just stay near the top. I can't afford mediocrity.
I don't know what to do know and then,
To see past my front door.
(CHORUS)
Lots of empty shelves sit there across the room, 'cause meaning is so hard to find.
The dark path of mine is let to the very end.
I never find the time to hide and unwind.
So here I go on the road to somewhere,
Somewhere I've never been, YEAH!
(CHORUS)
