	Story Behind the Song Being from Germany and living in the U.S.A since 1986, I am finally (after so many years) visiting my family again this year (2003). This inspired me to write "Long Time Waiting", expressing the joy I feel about seeing my family again. I wrote this song in the spur of the moment a few months back in October 2002. It took about 2 days and 4 takes to get this song where it is right now. Hope, you enjoy!
