	Story Behind the Song I originally composed this song by freeplaying on a piano at a children's summer camp I worked at. Many years later I wrote the words to reflect my experiences around difficult times. Lyrics When life brings us numerous struggles We have some choices to make Oh we can feel helpless and bitter Or we can seek out actions to take Health may not come from your doctor Peace may not come from their drugs Yet when in the arms of a loved one So good to share one of our heartfelt hugs ****** Good health cannot last us forever Time will bring out the frailties of age Yet time can as well be an ally And teach a person the way of a sage To be wise though is but an illusion No god has there yet to create Anyone that’s immune to confusion God, such a tragic mistake Hey gods, seems you’ve made a mistake For we all yearn for closeness…yes We simply yearn for closeness Let our hearts find a universal love And then we can truly live in peace And when we’ve lived a life knowing universal love Then we can truly rest in peace
