	Story Behind the Song Another old rock song that just wasn't quite right with the words, so I wrote about my sox. Lyrics I’d like to teach my sox to walk for me, but my Sox are Lazy I’d like to get my sox to talk to me, but my Sox are Lazy Can’t talk to them on the phone Cause if I could I wouldn’t feel so all alone Why can’t my sox greet me when I come home Cause sox are lazy (spoken: or maybe they just have lazy genes) I see you down on my feet Sox are lazy Won’t let me go out on the street Sox are lazy I’ve made up my mind When I need help I‘m going to have to find Why sox can’t help make up my mind Cause sox are lazy You know you are a mute fickle foot saver Still sox are lazy You know as smelling salts you’re really quite a life saver And Sox are lazy ( and stinky too!)
