An uptempo song with a nice doomy ending and laser-gun solo. This one has unfathomable loss written all over it. |

Story Behind the Song
This song was written mid-late 2002, and has some heavy karma attached to it. Like the music, the initial recording sessions were quite volatile with mics and drum sticks flying like darts. The progression and melody both contain a curious phenomenon of math and science; a harmonic algorithm that produces a trance-like state, usualy followed by feelings of d. The lyrics mean exactly what they say, and are based 100% on personal experience.
Lyrics
Nightmares plauge me and I can't stay awake tonight
They say dreams come true, good ones never do alright
Things that I love so much have gone so far away
Looking back at faces that have nothing left to say
The only truth that i know is that the universe does not need us, it carries on playing dice with our lives
sometimes when i sit and stare my eyes see far beyond the veil of life and death so far away my heart must go my soul can't stay but now that I know what it's like I won't be the same again
Every mistake that we make becomes a universe of it's own and that's where we live all our lives untill we die
My entire world has fallen out of touch
nothing really matters, I don't care that much
Things that used to come but they never stay
eventualy I leave or I walk away
People talking to me but i can never hear
Everything is noise but I can never hear
Memories are over, the day begins to dawn
Sorry I can't see you but i'm already gone
