For years I've been singing meaningless words to this rock song which I've loved the music to. Now here's something to get stuck in your head. |

Story Behind the Song
My adaptation and words to an old rock song that had no meaning to me, but sounded great musically.
Lyrics
{Well I was born…whoa! I guess you can’t experience
Reemergence until you’ve had an emergence “C”
Well let me tell you, I made some noise
You see, I was a sensitive child and I knew right from the beginning
That something was wrong out here
Now back then I couldn’t use words to tell everybody things like…
I thought that resource hoarding by the rich is a terrorist act against the poor,
But now I can… and now that I’m older I can write a song about it
And this is how it goes:}
I was born in a middle class family in Maine
It’s only now I see the wealth distribution’s insane
Oh it’s not alright…no, no not gonna let it pass
No it’s not all right, crazy oppressive world no it just can’t last
I was raised as if the working class ethic was God
And I howled because they never did spare the rod
{ Ooo, it ain’t gonna last like this folks,
We keep these people in charge, they’ll mess something up,
That’s for sure
I think its time we get together and kick some butt!}
I felt down when I found the ruling class were all thieves
Oh I frown to see how many poor people they deceive
Feels like we’re brown nosing hanging round for crumbs that they leave
Its time to find a way change the world and show them just what’s up OUR sleeves
{You know if we continue to use how many resources one has hoarded as the gauge for success in this world
And if this kind of greed is the underlying cause of terrorist acts
Then an economy based on generosity may indeed look like an utter failure
But at least it would be an economy totally devoid of terrorists
