	Executive Order 9066 was signed by Franklin D. Roosevelt, and placed thousands of American people of Japanese descent into “internment camps.” �Performed on the anniversary of the title, this was the first time Jonathan Segel and I performed together publicly. � �We tried to comment �on, with music, the atrocities suffered by these people at the hands of the U.S. government during WWII. �It only rings truer in today’s political climate. �Other than these ideas, it was freely improvised. �He played laptop, violin, and trumpet (briefly) while I played guitar.
