Rock with blues influences, with a contagious groovy rhythmic section. A smooth wah guitar phrase introduces you to the theme, but two other contrasting guitar personalities also make their statement further on. After each one tells its story, a harmony created by two guitars emergenges as the chorus. |
CD: de tempos a tempos (from time to time)

Story Behind the Song
The theme was born from its first chord (Gm7), which sounds very powerful. The starting chord progression is similar to a blues, but not totally standard. I wanted a cool sound for the melodies, but smooth as the theme was "asking for". That's why I wrote that introduction with the wah guitar. Then I needed a more slashing tone, to have a contrasting moment after the introduction - this sound was very influenced by Joe Satriani blues album. The chorus section took its time to come, but after I got the slightly funky guitar rhythm, the melody was imediate and the second harmonized guitar reinforced it, it's already part of my composition style. The last section before the ending chorus was ment to be more spacial/mistical, contrasting not only on the tone of the melodies but also on the whole sound of the music. The theme title is the picture I have seen when listening to the whole recording - different melodies on different tonalities are introduced during the song, reminding a group of people telling a short story one at a time.
