	Story Behind the Song As Cornell students, the four of us in the band are involved as leaders in different musical activities around campus. Most of them have to do with Christian fellowships and groups. This being the case, we have massed enough sound equipment and decided to record two songs as a short promotional demo. These two songs are the result of what was recorded in my apartment basement. Enjoy! Lyrics Tears are falling to the ground. Sobs are heard all around. As the innocent is marched to his death, Forced to give up his last breath. And why.....must he die? His shouts of pain can be heard, As they beat him into the dirt, And they spit right into his face, Making him into disgrace. He hadn't committed any crime. Against him there was nothing they could find. There was no reason for their hate. He just came to open the gate.
